ProFirst Training and Consulting Completes Major Contract with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department

ProFirst Training and Consulting, LLC recently completed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), resulting in 675 comprehensive pre-employment background investigations. The partnership—initiated through the Chief’s Office at the request of LVMPD’s CFO—helped the department efficiently process thousands of applicants while achieving significant cost savings and higher-quality investigations.

ProFirst’s team of 28 professional background investigators, four managers, and dedicated support staff delivered investigations that were Nevada POST, FCRA, and ADA compliant. The collaboration allowed LVMPD to streamline its background process, improve compliance, and reallocate resources toward recruiting and community engagement.
